Our Story
During the summer of 2013, a fortuitous encounter brought Rupak and Norman together at UC San Diego. At the time, they were both scientists collaborating on various projects. Remarkably, their partnership extended beyond the confines of academia as they successfully launched a startup while still in university.
After parting ways to pursue their individual career trajectories, fate intervened once more, uniting them on an extraordinary path. This reunion came about through a remarkable opportunity presented by Launch Factory, a San Diego VC-backed Startup Studio.
Fueled by their shared backgrounds and a deep-rooted passion for unraveling complexity, Rupak and Norman founded OmniSync. Their vision for OmniSync is to serve as a global nexus, where entities grappling with intricate problems, including governments, converge with nontraditional, innovation-driven solution providers such as tech and life science startups.
Together, they aspire to transform OmniSync into the epicenter of innovation, revolutionizing collaboration and providing a sanctuary for those seeking breakthrough solutions.

Rupak has over 15 years of experience across startups, industry, and academia, with a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, postdoc research on transporter proteins, biofuels and antibody discovery, and preclinical development of biologics at InhibRx.

Norman is a bioengineer, with experience across startups and academia. A Ph.D. from UC San Diego, he has over 7 years of research experience at the interface of biology, hardware engineering, and machine learning.

Jessica earned her MBA from Pepperdine University with a concentration in New Ventures and Entrepreneurship and holds a S.E.E.R. Certificate (Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible) for Business Strategy. She has been a founder and executive leader in operations, sales/marketing, and directly leading tech companies over the past 8+ years to scale faster and efficiently.

She led the development and launch of the SBIR Partnering Platform in collaboration with OmniSync. Prior to DOE, Carol spent over 20 years as a commercialization service provider at Dawnbreaker and holds a Ph.D. in physical/analytical chemistry from the University of Utah.
